TankText arrival alerts
Program name: TankText. Shop alerts start with the shop's name and end with "via TankText, STOP to opt out". The welcome, HELP, and STOP replies name TankText in full. TankText is operated by Supermassive Corporation (dba TankText), 15807 Booth Circle, Volente, TX 78641. TankText sends recurring automated marketing texts about new fish and coral arrivals and specials at the participating aquarium shop you choose, plus replies to questions or special orders you text. You opt in by scanning a shop's TankText QR code or texting the shop's code (or JOIN plus the code) to (239) 438-3474, or by checking the marketing box on the shop's TankText signup page. That consent is only for those marketing alerts. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, typically 1-3 messages per week per shop. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time; you'll receive one confirmation and no further marketing messages. Reply START to resubscribe. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@tanktext.com. STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, and REVOKE also cancel. HELP and INFO both reach help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. A hold is separate from marketing. You can place a hold without joining the text list. Texts about that hold (a confirmation and a notice when it ends) are sent only if you check the optional box on that hold. Holds last up to 24 hours and are not guaranteed; call the shop to confirm. Shop subscription
A shop starts free, with up to 50 subscribers and one broadcast post every 7 days, and no card. Arrival posts and store posts count as that broadcast. Hold confirmations, hold-expired texts, and welcome, HELP, and STOP replies do not. Joins are still accepted after 50 subscribers. Free broadcasts go to the 50 earliest subscribers, and they go out immediately. A card is collected only when the shop upgrades. TankText Pro is $39 a month or $300 a year (about $25 a month), with 1,500 message segments a month and no subscriber or weekly-post limit. Extra segments on Pro are $0.02 each. There is no setup fee, carrier fee, or contract. Cancel anytime. Sending stops on Pro if the subscription is unpaid or canceled. STOP and HELP still work.
Every shop texts from (239) 438-3474. Customers join by texting that shop’s code. The shop is responsible for the offers it sends and for keeping its name, city, and contact details accurate.
